New station (number 62) was rebuilt in 1964. New station (current) opened 1964

In 1896 the site of the Fire Station was at Stag Lane Reservoir, Stag Lane, Buckhurst Hill. This was however demolished and replaced by the Fire Station which was situated on the High Road which was demolished in 1933 with the opening of Loughton and Grange Farm, Chigwell
